The History of Fleming Building Company, Inc.
Fleming Building Company, Inc., established January 6, 1946, by Lloyd B. Fleming, started the pre-engineered metal building industry in Tulsa with the use of Quonset buildings. In May of 1958, Fleming Building Company, Inc. was appointed a Butler Franchise dealership and has remained a dealer ever since. In 1965 Raymond A. Miller, Jr., now President and Owner of the company, became an employee. At that point, the company's direction changed from a steel-erected concrete operation to a design and build turnkey contractor primarily designed around Butler systems. By 1974, Miller had acquired full control of the company, buying out two partners in the process. Since 1985, Fleming Building Company, Inc. has been working across the country as either a general contractor or steel erector.
