Local Contractor Honored by Butler Manufacturing Co.

Fleming Building Co., Inc., a general contracting company located at the Tulsa Port of Catoosa has reached the fifty million dollar sales level with the Buildings Division of Butler Manufacturing Company, the world leader in the development and manufacture of metal building systems. Also, Fleming Building Co., Inc. was named #1 Volume Builder of the Year. This designation is awarded to one Butler BuilderŪ who has exceeded all other Builders in the sale of Butler building and roof systems. Butler Manufacturing Company has seven regions. This is Fleming's second consecutive year as the #1 Volume Builder of the Year.

This award was presented by Ted Wolfe, Senior Vice President of Sales and Frank Hunt, Southwestern Regional Sales Manager, at Butler's 2002 national sales meeting. Receiving this award was Raymond A. Miller, Jr., President and Owner of Fleming Building Co., Inc. Recently completed local projects using Butler building components include: Mathis Brothers Furniture Showroom and Warehouse United Rentals Thermal Windows, Inc. Fleming Building Co., Inc. was established in 1946 and has been marketing and building Butler buildings since 1958. As an interesting highlight, the pioneer spirit of FBC, Inc. was involved in starting the Claremore Industrial Authority park and in building the first privately owned Public Building at the Port of Catoosa. To date, Fleming Building Co., Inc. has been involved with over thirty industrial revenue jobs financed through the Tulsa Industrial Authority, The Facilities Authority at the Port of Catoosa, Claremore Industrial Authority and others.

With a network of more than 1,200 Butler BuildersŪ representing it in local trade areas across the nation, Butler Manufacturing is the undisputed leader of a segment of the construction market representing more than $13 billion worth of construction projects. Systems construction solutions are applied to approximately 65% of all non-residential low rise building projects under 150,000 s.f. in size.
